Matthew 28:16-20

James Bond was a true servant of the queen, he was willingly to go anywhere at any time.  The most interesting fact about James bond was that He went on missions that he did not plan himself; intelligence reports and the latest and greatest tools to use were provided for him.  All he had to do was follow the directions and the mission would be successful.

We as Christians are a lot like that, we were not involved in the planning of the mission that took place in heaven before Christ framed the world, but we were commissioned to be involved in it.  We are given the tools that we need to successfully complete the mission.  The spirit, the word, and the truth are our tools.  God is good; He took care of all the details for us.

In my view the mission we have is easy compared to the completed mission that Jesus Christ carried out, His mission was to give His life on a cross for the sins of the world.  Ours is just to tell others about what Jesus has already done.

Read the following and have a wonderful and Spirit-filled day.

Matthew 28:16-20

16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (NIV)
