I don’t know how many times I have shown my boys how to clean their room. I go through the details of how I want it done and what it should look like when they are finished.  But they always try and take short cuts to get it done quicker. So when I go in to check out their work I always have to point things out that they have not completed. Their response is always the same, “isn’t it clean enough”?

If they want their fathers approval  they have to do it their fathers way.  Our Father has instructed us to live by faith.  Now, we can live any way we want to, but if we want the Fathers approval and blessing then we must live a life of Faith.  The Bible tells us that if we want to please God then we have to have faith; and we have to put that faith into action. 

Faith is beliving what has not come into focus yet, it is trusting God.  It is one thing to say that we have faith, but is totally another to live like we have faith.  For instance, our Father tells us that He will take care of our needs, but how many of us sit and worry about how and if those needs will be met.  Faith is confidence in the trustworhiness of God.  Are you living a life of Faith?

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (NKJV)
